Now that my SHEIN Haul is out of the way it’s time to take a look at the rest of the products that I bought in May.

J & Co Jewellery – Huggies Earrings – I’ve been wanting new earrings for a while and saw an ad for J & Co on Instagram so I took a look at their site. They have a Huggies earrings section that is exactly what I was looking for (small hoops and such). I bought their Bezel Huggie Hoop Earrings and their Spike Pave Huggie Earrings and they’re perfect! They also come very well packaged in a cute box (that I gave to my daughter).
BuzzPatch – MagicPatch Itch Relief Patches (x2) – I saw an ad for these on Facebook and my daughter had been getting bitten a lot so I decided to give them a try. She doesn’t like them because they stick very well and hurt a bit when we take them off (like removing a bandaid). I tried them once and they seemed to help get rid of the itch. However, more testing is required before I give a final verdict on them.
PRO Hair Tie – Playful Pack – I’ve been seeing ads for these hair ties for quite a while now and I was curious so I bought some. I got the Playful Pack and received two Unicorn ties as freebies. There are two ties missing from the picture because I was wearing the rainbow one from the Playful Pack and my daughter had a Unicorn one in her hair. I like them. They hold well and are really easy to remove because of the clasp. I’m happy with this purchase.
Velvet Caviar – Holo Moonstone Marble iPhone Case & Phone Ring – I was tired of having a black phone case and when I saw this Holo Moonstone Marble case from Velvet Caviar I just HAD to have it! I bought the matching phone ring to go with it. I LOVE them!
Beauty Products
Chella – Eyebrow Defining Gel (Clear) – I don’t wear makeup, but I like to brush my brows and set them with a gel. My friend Vanessa, owner of Blush & Rose, carries Chella products so I bought this one to try out.
Institut EsthĂ©derm – Intensive Hyaluronic Serum – This is a repurchase. I really like this serum; it absorbs well into the skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth, and it has a wonderful light fresh scent. I buy it from my friend VĂ©ronique, owner of Vie Esthetic Studio.
Institit EsthĂ©derm – Intensive Retinol Oil Serum – I needed a new retinol product so I bought this one to try out and I support my friend’s business by doing so. This retinol is 0.3% and it’s my new favourite. It’s oil-based and OMG IT FEELS WONDERFUL!
Nair – Wax Ready Strips for Legs & Body with Milk and Honey (x2) – I was out of wax strips so I ordered these from Amazon. I’ve been using the Nair wax strips for years, but I’ve never tried the Milk & Honey ones and these are now my new favourites. The strips are not as stiff as the other ones from Nair; the fabric is softer. And I find I can reuse them a lot more than the other ones. These are my new go-to.
