We’re halfway through 2021 already! And it’s summer, yay! I hope your summer is off to a good start. Here it’s going well, although we’ve just had a few chilly days hovering around 15C. But things should warm back up close to 30C next week. Anywho, let’s take a look at the beauty products that I finished in June.

Body Care
So…? – Bali Breeze Body Mist* This body mist smelled SO GOOD. It’s warm and sultry and wonderful. It’s definitely a scent that I’ll consider purchasing once I’m done with all the other body mists I have.
Face Care & Makeup
Chella – Eyebrow Defining Gel This brow gel is good, it’s just not great. I was previously using hair gel on my brows and that set them better than this gel. This gel still did a decent job, but it just didn’t measure up to the hair gel.
Delon+ – Cotton Rounds (R) I buy these in bulk at Costco and they work great.
Guinot – Age Logic Eye Cream This eye cream absorbed well into the skin and left my eye area well moisturized. I can’t say if it improved anything because the sample didn’t last long enough, but I enjoyed using it.
Institut Esthederm – Intensive Propolis+ Ferulic Acid Skin Perfecting Cream This cream smelled really good and felt wonderful on the skin. When I’ll be needing more moisturizer I’ll definitely look into this one.
Kiss New York – Pro Touch Matte Powder Foundation* This pressed powder worked really well for me. I used it with a big fluffy brush and it applied just enough to remove the excess shine on my face, but not completely mattifying it. This was shade 110 Porcelain.
Vichy – Neovadiol Compensating Complex I used this sample as my night moisturizer and it felt great. It absorbed well into the skin, but still felt a bit dewy to the touch. I always woke up with soft skin.
Hair Care
Garnier Whole Blends – Castor Oil Remedy Restoring Shampoo (R) This shampoo was great on my dried up hair when I used it every so often, but if it’s the only thing I used, wash after wash, then it weighed my hair down and made it oilier. I only discovered that after I purchased this big bottle so I used this one sparingly, and I used it on my daughter too. It smelled really good though.
Kerotin – Keratin Renewal Conditioner (R) This conditioner was great at softening the crazy tangles that my hair got in when I washed it. It smelled good too.
