Hey hey hey!
I spotted the essence good girl bad girl collection at my local Shoppers Drug Mart not too long ago and I bought all the nail polish – of course! 🙂 There are 6 shades plus 2 glitter toppers for a total of 8 nail products! Today I’m showing you the first one I tried: 05 it wasn’t me.
The brush is the typical essence brush they have in their limited editions – it’s not as wide as their regular line, but it’s still wide and thin (not round) and it works well.
At first I did not realize that “glitter effect” meant that it was a textured polish, but that’s what it means. It’s the same as the sand effect we all know.
I love looking at swatches of textured polish, but I just don’t like it on my nails in real life, so I added three thick layers of topcoat to smooth out this baby.
Isn’t it just a glittery beauty?!?
Since this nail polish has glitters in it I would usually show you a macro shot, but I got a new cell phone and I can’t find my extra sticker to use my macro lens on it. 🙁 I will look for it and hopefully have it for the next glitter polish I wear!

Most of the polishes from this collection are textured – I should work on swatching the other ones soon.
