We’re already in February?!? Crazy!!! And for once in the past 4 (or 5?) months I’m relatively on time with my monthly empties, yay! 🙂
Let’s see what products I finished in January…
EVulcano – Hair Wash & Hair Cream 
I received these items in my Winter 2014 Loose Button Luxe Box. They smell good, like lemon, but it’s not a scent I want to have in my hair all day long. The products worked ok. I’ve definitely tried worse, but they’re not as good as my regular products.
Live Clean – Argan Oil Leave-in Conditioner Spray 
I bought this product last summer and I really like it because it adds sun protection to your hair. I had not used it since and went to use it last week just to freshen up my 2nd day hair and I think it went bad because it smelled funky. I will buy a new one this summer and make sure I use it all within a few months.
The Body Shop – Chocomania Body Butter
This body butter smells delicious! It doesn’t quite smell like real chocolate, but it’s sweet and yummy! It hydrates really well too.
The Body Shop – Born Lippy Strawberry Lip Balm
I kept this lip balm on my night table and used it every night before going to bed. It smelled delicious and I always woke up with smooth lips.
TRESemmé – 7 days keratin smooth shampoo & conditioner
I don’t remember where I got these foilies from, but I was saving them for a day when I was planning on straightening my hair. However, I procrastinated too much in buying more shampoo and conditioner so I had to use them on a regular day (no straightening) – boo to that. They made my hair feel very soft and light, and thinner for some reason. My hair also seemed a bit straighter than usual (I find products that make my hair feel thinner tend to do that). The scent was just okay for me, but I really liked how they made my hair feel. Too bad I didn’t get to straighten my hair. There was a serum foilie too so that one I’m saving for a straight hair day.
Nail Products Clean-up
It’s time to do some clean-up and throw out the products I don’t use anymore. I’m starting with my nail products.
Butter London – Hardwear P.D. Quick Top Coat
Love this one, but it just got really thick and it pulls when I retrieve the wand, making fine hairs of topcoat everywhere. Will buy more though.
China Glaze – Fast Freeze Quick Dry Drops 
These leave a blue tint on my polish which I do not like, so I never use it anymore. I obviously used it a lot though (at first when it was the only one I had).
OPI – Nail Envy Nail Strengthener
This one worked well, but I keep my nails too short to really say if it makes a difference or not.
OPI – Top Coat
This topcoat bubbles like crazy so I do not like it.
Sèche Vite – Top Coat
Dries really fast and gives a great shine, but gets gloopy and shrinks on the nails. This one barely even moves when I turn it on its side.
