Hi everyone!
Today I’m showing you a stunner of a polish – IMO 😉 – from Joe Fresh called Twilight. I won’t bore you with words cause LOOK AT IT!!!
*swoon*
The brush wand is short since these are small bottles, but the brush itself is wide and thin and it works well.
Twilight is a black jelly base with multi-chrome flakies. They mostly go from green to orange, but if you look on the sides of the bottle you’ll see some blue there too.
In most lights you’ll mainly see the flakies green – in the sun they’re bright green, almost neon. Under incandescent lights they’ll lean more orange. However, my light box brings out all of their colours and I’m in love!
MACRO SHOT! 😀
When I started applying this polish I really did not expect this beauty at the end; the first coat was VERY streaky and patchy. But then the second coat deepened the black a bit more and the third coat made me all giddy inside. Once I was done applying two generous layers of top coat I had to pause and stare in awe.
Doesn’t it look like a fall landscape where the leaves are starting to change colours? Seriously gorgeous!
I bought this nail polish quite a few years ago so I don’t know if it’s still available or not, but I hope it is because you need to go buy it NOW! 🙂
Do you have a flakie polish similar to this?
– Chantal 🙂

This is beautiful! I’ve never had much luck with jelly polishes or polishes with flakes 🙁
Jelly polishes usually require three coats for full opacity, and I tend to go thicker with my 2nd and 3rd coats (depending on formula) to make sure I don’t need a 4th one.
