Hey hey hey!
We’re almost done with the October Nail Art Challenge! Today’s theme is gradient so I tried doing a gradient that looked like a sunset.
Here are all the products I used:
- essence gel base coat
- Sinful Colors “Pull Over” (yellow)
- China Glaze “Scarlet” (red)
- Barry M “Plum” (purple)
- CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat
- Lots of makeup sponges!
I started with two coats of Sinful Colors “Pull Over” as my base colour, then using a clean makeup sponge end for each nail (this is important to prevent deposits of dry bits of polish) I made a gradient with Sinful Colors “Pull Over”, China Glaze “Scarlet” and Barry M “Plum” to create a sunset effect. I then finished it off with two generous layers of CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat.
This is the first time I do a gradient with such different colours and I really like how they turned out! They look even better in real life because up close like this you see all the details and imperfections that you don’t see when you look at them from a regular distance.
This is also my base/background for tomorrow’s theme so come back then to see what I do for the final day of the challenge!
