At first I wanted to do some stamping, but the stamping plate that I have with Halloween designs does not work at all, so freehand it is!
I’ll just list what I used for the freehand drawings since you can see what I used for the gradient in yesterday’s post.
- Fantasy Makers “Darkest Hour”
- Sinful Colors “Snow Me White”
- China Glaze “Scarlet”
- Pure Color Nail Art Brush n° 9
- Dotting Tools
I used the nail polish brush to make the mound on my ring finger, the yellow dotting tool to make the bat’s head on my pinky, and the blue dotting tool to make the eyes (first in white, then in red). I used the nail art brush to paint all the rest.
And I just realized that I forgot to include a product in my product shot above: I used a thick coat of essence gel top coat over everything (no streaks, WHOO!).
Freehand drawings are not my strong point, but I think you can tell what’s what so that’s a success in my books. 🙂
This was the first time I participated in a daily challenge and I quite enjoyed it! Next time I do though I will prepare my nail art ahead because there were some looks that I wanted to wear longer than a day (and I did with day 3). But overall this was a great and fun experience!
A huge thank you to Samantha from Gemstone Beauty for coming up with this idea and organizing it all!
I hope you enjoyed all the nail art I did during this challenge cause I sure had fun creating them all!
