Joe Fresh‘s nail polish in Tin is one that I use often in nail art, but it’s never had its own post so I figured it was time I did one. I still did some nail art with it, but this post is all about Tin and how awesome it is!
Tin is a silver metallic nail polish that is fully opaque with one coat. That’s right, it’s a ONE COATER and that’s all I have in these images! I knew it was going to be like that because of how it behaves when I use it for nail art. And although you can see some faint lines in these pictures, they are not visible in real life.
I did these nails two weekends ago when it was raining and shitty so I figured some cloud stamping over black reflected the weather, and also really shows how Tin is perfect for stamping.
These are all the products I used for the nail art:
- Skinfood – Pine Nut Break Free Nail Strengthener
- Joe Fresh – Tin x1 coat
- Wet n Wild – Darkest Hour x2 coats
- butterLONDON – Matte Finish topcoat
- Born Pretty – Large Jelly Stamper
- Bundle Monster – Stamping Plate BM-312
After applying the nail polish on all nails I applied two coats of the matte topcoat and let it dry for 15 minutes or so before doing the stamping. I did not add another topcoat over the stamping.
I love Tin and I love the stamping. This nail polish is definitely a must in your collection!
