Whether I wear makeup or not I usually have something on my lips. If I’m wearing makeup then it’s lipstick or lipgloss, and when I’m going natural then it’s a lip balm of some sort – I did NOT get addicted to lip balm again! 😉 Enter the Revlon Kiss Plumping Lip Crème in the colour Peony Buff, a colour I can wear with or without makeup because it suits both styles. Let’s take a closer look…
But first, as always, let’s look at the ingredients. Just for fun, how many of them can you pronounce?!? 😉

Get fuller, smoother looking lips in one gentle, easy step. Formulated with Volulip™ to visibly enhance size of lips overtime.
I can’t attest to the enhanced size of lips overtime since I have not been wearing this product every single day for a lengthy period, but I can say that when I apply it I get that menthol cooling/tingling feeling on the lips. It’s very brief; it really doesn’t last very long at all. And it’s not painful whatsoever, it’s just a light tingling.
The colour Peony Buff is a beautiful pink that gives me a MLBB look. It’s perfect to add a hint of colour if I’m not wearing makeup, and the same goes if I’m wearing a natural makeup look, or even a more dramatic one where I want a simple lip.
It has the consistency of a vaseline-type lip balm, you know what I mean? It’s slick and slippery, but NOT sticky whatsoever. I find it lasts about the same as lip balm too; it definitely wears off faster compared to a lipstick or gloss. But since it’s such a light colour you don’t need a mirror to reapply.
This colour is the type of shade I always go for; it’s definitely “me”.
This is a product I can keep in my purse for a “just in case” situation since it will go with pretty much any look I’m sporting. I just wish it lasted longer, but (as mentioned earlier) I can reapply it easily even if I can’t look in a mirror.
Have you tried the Kiss Plumping Lip Crème from Revlon? Do you have any colour recommendation?
