I’m not being a good blogger lately because I’m showing you nail polishes that are no longer available, and today is another one. I’ll fix that for the next nail post, I promise! 🙂 Ceramic Glaze used to be available exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart, but they left in 2017. This colour, Exclusive Invite, is another one I received from my sister-in-law. Let’s take a look…
Exclusive Invite is from the Into the Night Hollographic Collection from 2013. It’s a greyish purple with very fine holo goodness, but the pictures in my light box only show the grey side of the colour.
The formula pulled at the cuticles so I used three coats to cover up some bald patches. Otherwise, the formula would have been fully opaque with two coats. The finish was a bit lacklustre, but top coat fixed that issue.
I did not realize that this nail polish was holographic until I started applying it. Holos really come to life under the sun, but cameras can never catch the full beauty of them. I still got a shot in direct sunlight for you guys, and this picture is way more colour accurate too as you can see the purple tone in it.
Although this colour is on the dark side, there was something missing for me to fully love it. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed wearing it, but there was just a bit of oomph missing for me.
