With menthol, peppermint oil, and eucalyptus oil, the shampoo feels quite cooling on the scalp. It’s a rather nice feeling and I can imagine that it would feel great during the hot summer months. Given those ingredients, it’s also great at clearing your sinuses and I can’t help but wonder if this would help during a sinus cold with a hot steamy shower.
In between washes I live on dry shampoo and I use one that creates maximum volume, so it leaves my hair feeling a bit gunky at the scalp. I need a shampoo that will remove all that gunk, and this Giovanni shampoo did the trick! I do find that I need a little bit more product of this one than I do with my regular shampoo, but otherwise it cleanses just as well.
The conditioner feels cooling on the scalp, just like the shampoo, and it lathers up as I work it into my hair. It does not detangle my hair at all though. Once out of the shower my hair is left in a crazy tangled mess. However, not many conditioners have helped detangle my colour-treated hair and I usually need to spray a leave-in detangler to help comb through it. So this was nothing new, and kind of expected.
I was afraid that these products would be drying on my hair given the tea tree oil, but they weren’t. That being said, I only had travel size bottles that didn’t last that long so I did not use these over a long period of time. But my hair did feel soft and smooth while I used these (the same it feels with my current products).

I don’t use hair spray all that much, but I’ve been using the L.A. Hold Hair Spritz on my second day hair when I tie part of my hair up. It’s been helping keep my hair in place so I will keep using it for that.
I really enjoyed the cooling feeling from the shampoo and conditioner and would enjoy using them again. I currenly have 1L bottles of another brand and don’t foresee buying anything new until 2020, but these will be on the list of possible products to get next time. I may even get them to use sporadically because I really did enjoy the cooling feeling on my scalp.

What do you use to wash your hair?
