Body
Biotherm – cleansing shower milk with citrus essences I got this one as a GWP. It lathered really well and had a great citrus scent that I really enjoyed in the mornings. It cleansed well without leaving my skin feeling tight. If it was not for the price ($39) I would probably purchase it.
Face
Acure – Brightening Facial Scrub* I received this facial scrub two years ago and have been using it on and off. I was really into chemical exfoliants lately, but after finishing my Pixi Glow Tonic last month I went back to this Acure scrub. There’s just something about using a physical scrub that makes me go aaahhh, like I can feel it remove the dead skin cells and gunk from my face. I really enjoyed this scrub.
Live Clean – Foaming Daily Cleanser I noticed this cleanser at Walmart when I was looking for another brand, and since I love the Live Clean hand soaps (it’s all I buy), I decided to give this facial cleanser a go. And I was not disappointed! It cleansed my face really well without leaving it feeling tight and dry.
Hair
Bumble and bumble – Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Heat/UV Protective Primer This product smells SO GOOD! And it’s a detangling GODDESS!! Even though I use conditioner on my hair (which helps a lot), it is still quite knotted after coming out of the shower because it’s colour-processed. A few spritz of this primer and the knots are gone, poof! I also use it on my daughter’s hair, especially after swim class. Those chlorinated knots stand no chance against this primer. It also protects hair from heat and UV rays, which is great! I haven’t bought more yet because I need to use other products that I have, but you can be certain that I will buy this again!!
Marc Anthony – Refreshing Coconut Clear Dry Shampoo This dry shampoo smells SO. GOOD. Coconut, need I say more?!? It will not leave a white cast in your hair, so their claim about being clear really is true. I have other dry shampoos to go through, but I will definitely purchase this one when I need to buy some again.
Makeup
NYC – Smooth Skin Loose Face Powder I love this powder; this is the second tub I go through. I haven’t tried any other loose translucent powders so I can’t compare it to anything else, but given that it works great for me I don’t see the need to try something different (unless someone has a very strong recommendation for another product). I apply it with a big fluffy brush and it gives my skin a fresh finish without being too mattifying. Like the name says, it gives me smooth skin.
I didn’t finish many products in July, but they were all great products! The last three will be purchased again.
