I have two sheet masks from Soo’Ae to share with you today. We’ll be looking at their Revitalizing Rose Petal Sheet Mask and their recently released Cactus & Aloe Soothing Hydrogel Mask.
Revitalizing Rose Petal Sheet Mask
This mask has a very wonderful rose scent; I do not find it to be fake at all. The mask itself is very thin and pretty much disappears on the face. The fit is really good, I just added little slits between the eyes to make it fit better at the top of the nose. But, otherwise, it stretches very well across my entire face. The mask itself is drenched in essence and was dripping a little bit as I was applying it, and that made it stick under the chin very well so it did not give me a mask goatee.

The mask has real petal pieces in it, and it may contain stalks or leaves as well. Mine only seemed to contain petal pieces.
I kept the mask on for 20 minutes. I then massaged in the remaining essence but there was so much that it would not fully absorb so I stopped after a few minutes. My face was tacky so I did not apply my evening skincare routine. By the time I went to bed, about half an hour later, my face was still quite tacky so I left it as is and went to bed.
Cactus & Aloe Soothing Hydrogel Mask
This mask has a pleasant fresh scent. The mask is in two pieces like most hydrogel masks are. It is quite small though; it stops at the chin, it doesn’t wrap under, and it only covers half my forehead. The eye holes were a bit small so I made some cuts on the outer corners to make them bigger. I also added some cuts between the eyes to make it fit better in that area. It’s really interesting to have a clear mask, it’s the first time I try one. It gives a cool effect on the skin and it makes it look so smooth.

I kept it on for twenty five minutes. There was not much essence left on my skin after I removed it; my face was almost dry. But, there was a little essence left so I massaged it in. It left my face a bit tacky so I did not add any moisturizer. I went to bed about thirty minutes later and although my face was still a bit tacky, it was very little so I added a sleeping mask.
So far I’ve liked all of the Soo’Ae sheet masks that I’ve tried. And I bought more so you can expect to see more reviews about them in the future.
