I feel like I’m repeating myself on these monthly empties posts, but another month is done so time to look at the beauty products that I finished in July. I don’t know what else to say. đ

Body Care

Epoch (Nu Skin) – Foot Treatment
This is a very nice foot lotion that has a pleasant scent. I can’t quite describe it, but it’s not minty (not that there’s anything wrong with minty scents). It moisturizes really well and is good at hydrating dry calluses.
Full disclosure: Nu Skin is a MLM and I have an account with them. I donât actively work the business, but I can still sell their products.
Hawaiian Tropic – Silk Hydration Weightless Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30
(R) This is my go-to body SPF product.
Neutrogena – Ultra Sheer Body Mist Sunscreen SPF 30
Someone left this sunscreen at our house last summer and I never figured out who it was. We used it this year and my daughter loved it because her friend uses this product so she liked smelling like her friend, lol!
Yonka – Advanced Optimizer Gel Lift
This gel product had a really nice earthy scent. I applied it on my neck and dĂ©colletĂ© after showering and it felt nice. However, the sample was not enough to say if it would make a difference in my skin’s appearance. But I still enjoyed using it.
Zoella – Quench Me Body Sorbet*
This product moisturized the skin really well and had a very pleasant fresh scent. It smelled a bit strong though so I did not wear this when I had to work in the office, but now that I’m at home I’ve been using all of my scented body products!
Face Care

Vichy – MinĂ©ral 89 Eyes
This eye serum felt very nice. I used it in addition to my eye moisturizer. It lasted a couple of weeks, but I didn’t notice any difference in my eye area.
Hair Care

Bumble and bumble – Curl Defining Cream
Since the quarantine began I’ve been letting my hair air dry, and it is naturally wavy/curly, so this product has been great at helping define my curls without being crunchy. It’s also a UV protector, which is awesome since we’re outside A. LOT. I need to buy the full size.
Bumble and bumble – Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Heat/UV Protective Primer
(R) This is a holy grail product for me. I’m currently using a sample size; I need to reorder ASAP!
COLAB – Active Dry Shampoo*
This dry shampoo had a pleasant fresh scent. While it didnh’t leave a white residue when I first started using it, it did at the end. I don’t mind that because I always fluff out dry shampoo, which takes care of the white cast.
And that’s it for July! Sample products are often hard to review and that’s why I usually give them double dots (green & yellow). If I like how it feels and smells, then it gets a green dot. But if I didn’t notice any difference, then I give it a yellow dot.
Do you see any product(s) you’ve tried before?
