My purchases for July were more wants than needs. Now that I think about it, there’s nothing that I actually needed right away. And that’s ok. They’re mostly all things that I will need eventually so I was being proactive. There, we’ll go with that. 😉 I’ve also started to care less about shipping costs (like Chelle mentioned in her latest haul video). Since I’m not shopping at stores, I just want the things that I want, so mail them to meeeee! 😛

Strut Jewelry – Sleeper Hoop Earrings (8mm sterling silver) – I’ve been wanting silver hoops for a long time and when I saw these ones from Strut Jewelry (local Ottawa artist) I just HAD to get them! I LOVE THEM!!
Body and Face Care
Kit – Exfoliating Shower Gloves – I used to use exfoliating gloves, but I stopped in January 2019 because of my skin condition. I have Dermatographia which means that any skin irritation gives me hives and itches AF. These type of gloves don’t irritate my skin enough to give me hives, but they used to make my body so itchy after my showers that it would drive me nuts. But I missed using them. Especially in the summer when I use sunscreen, just washing with soap and water isn’t enough to fully clean my skin. So I decided to give the gloves another try, and you know what? No crazy itchiness this time, WOOHOO!!! Maybe I expected it to be worse so it doesn’t feel as bad as I thought it would. Or maybe it’s because the previous gloves were from a different brand and harsher on the skin? I don’t know and I don’t care. I can finally use the gloves again! And OMG I forgot how soft these gloves make my skin feel!!!
Maybelline – Great Lash Mascara in Clear – I bought this mascara in the hopes that it could give my lashes a little extra oomph, like a wet look. But nope. It doesn’t do shit for me. Womp womp. Lol! I miss wearing mascara, but if I want to wear some I have to first prime my eyelids, set the primer with shadow, then I can wear mascara without risking it to melt and give me raccoon eyes (I have oily eyelids). So I was hoping this clear mascara could save me all that prepping and just add a wee bit of something. But, nope, nothing, nada, rien. I know, I know, it’s clear. 😛 But I don’t like having my lashes clumped together, so the wet look doesn’t do it for me. Thankfully it was on sale, lol!
Rebels Refinery – Lip Balms – These lip balms are just too cute and I couldn’t resist buying them. I got the Birthday Cake (cactus) and Strawberry Mango (pineapple) scents. I have a review coming soon for these.

Silver Jeans – Suki Mid Rise Shorts – I love Silver Jeans and really liked the look of these Suki shorts. They were on sale at Mark’s (now sold out), and I had an extra discount for signing up for their newsletter, so with shipping and taxes they came to $46 (they’re usually $80 before tax). They’re really comfortable.
Hair Care
COLAB – Dry Shampoos – I love the COLAB dry shampoos and just HAD to get these ones. I mean, Mermaid and Unicorn, need I say more? 😛 I already reviewed them too!
Kristin Ess – Dry Shampoo and Conditioner – I recently discovered dry conditioner. Well, recently heard about it. I was curious to see if it would help with knots when I brush my daughter’s hair in the morning. I did some research and this one from Kristin Ess sounded really good. I figured may as well get her dry shampoos too since I use a dry shampoo regularly (I got the regular one and the one for brunettes). And I’ll be able to do a review on all three products together. Win-win! 😉
Nail Polish
Bio Seaweed Gel – UNITY All-In-One Gel Polish – I love these gel polishes because you don’t need to use a base coat or a topcoat. Just two or three coats of these and you’re done! I got the colours 249 Royal Blue, 271 Tea Cups (July sale), and 274 Frosting.
Cool Maker – Go Glam Nail Stamper Nail Studio – I saw this nail stamping kit on Instagram and thought it was so cool and fun that I had to get it for my daughter and I. I will have a full review coming soon.
I also resubscribed to the Candy Coat Gel Polish Monthly Subscription, but I won’t be including those in my purchase roundups since my boxes always arrive the following month. And they get published on this blog too so you still get to see them.
