Monthly Purchases: December 2020

I thought I shopped less in December, but writing this post made me realize I bought more than I remembered, lol! It’s ok, it’s all good. 🙂

Skin Care

Bio Seaweed Gel – UNITY Gel Nail Polish – Of course I bought more nail polish! This time I got 180 Great Catch, 181 Poppy, and 231 Lady Crimson. One of those was part of their December specials, and the other two were part of a BOGO sale.

SkinCeuticals – H.A. Intensifier – This is a repurchase. I really liked it so I bought it again since I was close to finishing my previous bottle. I bought it from BeautySense during their Boxing Day save-the-tax event.

Hempz – Original Herbal Body Moisturizer – I’ve been wanting some Hempz body lotion for a while so I grabbed this one with my points from BeautySense (they have a rewards program). I put this one at the kitchen sink because that is where I wash my hands the most so I get to use it and smell it multiple times a day. It smells so good!

Clothing

For size reference, I’m 5’6″ and weigh 135 lbs. My pant size is a 6 and my bra size is 32C.

Giant Tiger – Pyjama Set – I wasn’t planning on buying a new pyjama, but when I saw this one I grabbed it right away. It was only $20. And it’s really comfy! This was part of their holiday family sets. I bought a size small.

Urban Planet – Pyjama – I actually bought this nightgown in November (the leggings didn’t come with it), but was waiting to take Christmas pictures with it before using it. This was part of their holiday family pyjama sets and it was on sale for $12 when I bought it. It’s so soft and really comfortable. This is a size small.

Accessories

Bentley – Cargo Small Faux Leather Quilted Multi Zip Crossbody – I’ve been looking for a new purse for quite a while, but could never find exactly what I wanted. That is until I saw this one. I was looking for a crossbody that was small and slim, and I wanted a boho vibe to it. This one is perfect! You can see its size next to the gloves (it’s not big), and its thickness depends on what you put in it. It carries all my essentials without being bulky (wallet, keys, phone, mask, sanitizer, lip balm, kleenex). It was also 30% off when I bought it. I love it! It also comes in beige and I’m really tempted to get that colour for the summer. We shall see…

Dollarama – Touchscreen Friendly Gloves – I wanted new gloves because the previous ones I bought were not as warm as I expected. These ones were $2.50 (or something like that) and they’re warmer. The palms and fingers are covered with non-slip dots so when you hold your phone it won’t slip out of your hands. They’ve been working great.

Dollarama – Christmas Nail Stickers – I bought these with the plan to do some easy nail art for Christmas. But that didn’t happen. Oh well, I’m ready for next year.

iPhone

That’s right, I bought an iPhone! I initially wanted the iPhone 12 Pro 128GB in Pacific Blue, but I ended up with the Pro Max 128GB in Graphite. Long story short, I’m with Koodo and wanted to buy from them at the store because they have better plans than online, and I wanted to use the Tab to put part of my phone’s cost on it. It was either go with the Pro Max in Graphite or wait another 1-2 months (or longer) for the Pro in Pacific Blue. I was tired of waiting so I bought what was available and I’m so happy with it!

Of course, I had to get some accessories for it. At the Koodo store I bought the Prodigee Super Star for iPhone 12 Pro Max case in Smoke (to match my phone) and the PanzerGlass™ iPhone 12 Pro Max screen protector in Black. From Amazon I bought the PopSocket in Galaxy Purple Tidepool. My phone is all glittered up! 😛

That’s it for my purchases for 2020. What have you been spending your money on?
