Boo Bamboo Hydrating Charcoal Sheet Mask Review

I’ve done many sheet masks before, but this is the first time I try a charcoal one. This Boo Bamboo Hydrating Charcoal Sheet Mask is also made from 100% bamboo fibres, how cool is that?!?

The mask material feels really soft. It’s also very thin and flexible. The mask was also REALLY wet, which in combination with the soft material made the mask stick to my face really well and I didn’t even have a mask goatee – that’s a first for me! This also made the mask stay in place; it did not slide down my face like a lot of them do so I did not have to fix it while wearing it.

The mask smells very light and I can’t quite figure out what it smells like. It was pleasant though.

The mask fits really well on my face. I wish it covered more of my nose though, but I’ve had this issue with every sheet mask I’ve tried so it’s nothing new.

Since the mask is so wet, it always feels cool on my face; it never warms up. This is great for these crazy hot summer days we’ve been having!

I don’t think I’ve ever felt this badass doing a face mask before, lol!

Once you remove the mask there is still lots of essence left so I ball up the mask and rub it all over my face to make sure I covered all areas. I then massage the essence, but it won’t all get absorbed right away. I don’t need to apply moisturizer as the essence is enough for me. It will feel tacky to the touch and I don’t know how long it lasts because I usually go to bed right after doing a face mask. When I woke up in the morning my face was no longer tacky, but it still felt soft and moisturized.

I’ve done this mask twice now (I received two) and I really like it. I’m definitely buying a three-pack of these! They also have other charcoal sheet masks and I’m currently eyeing their pore refining ones and their anti aging ones.
