I received the Passport To Beauty Gold Radiance Luxury Facial Mask with Collagen and Rose Oil in my 2015 Fall Edition FabFitFun box. It sure took me a while to try it, huh?!? But it’s all good, the expiry date has not passed yet! 😛 So let’s see what this golden mask looks like…!
But first, let’s look at the ingredients! 😉

The mask is pretty straight-forward to use: (1) wash face, (2) apply the mask, (3) leave on for 20 minutes, (4) massage remaining product into the skin.
Never before have I seen a mask with such a huge wrapping, look at how big that plastic film opens up! It also has A LOT of essence in the package so it kind of gets everywhere as you’re opening it up. It really doesn’t need all that packaging.
The mask itself feels a bit like a hydrogel mask as it has that thicker and slippery consistency, but it’s not AS slippery as a hydrogel mask. Because of that it will not stay put if you stand up so I had to go lie down while I had this mask on. I wasn’t able to take a picture at the beginning cause the mask kept sliding down my face, so I took it at the end. My face had absorbed some of the essence so the mask wasn’t as slippery.
After I removed the mask I noticed that the inside has this beautiful marbled pattern.
Once I removed the mask I massaged my face until it had absorbed the essence that was left behind, and I took some of the essence left in the packaging to put on my neck since the mask didn’t reach that far down. My face felt well hydrated and I did not need to add more moisturizer. It also had this plumpness to it that was nice.
I did this mask before going to bed and the next morning my face still felt great and well hydrated.
The mask smells really nice with the rose oil in it, it’s quite pleasant.
I don’t know how often you can do this mask, but at its price point ($65 USD for 2) I wouldn’t do it too often. I really enjoyed it and will use the second mask, but I wouldn’t purchase it. I’ve had the same results with less expensive masks. It does really feel luxurious though so if you want to treat yourself then this is a great option.
Have you tried a gold mask before?
