My Candy Coat Gel Polish Monthly Subscription for August arrived last week so let’s take a look!
This box’s theme is the same as the July box: Vacay Vibes at home with CC this month.
Let’s take a look at what’s inside:
- Gel nail polish in 333V (blue), 929 (purple), and 1068 (clear base glitter)

The nail polish colours are beautiful and definitely shades that I go for, but they’re just not making me jump of excitement.
The nail stickers are really cute and definitely something I’ll reach for next summer.
My daughter got the candies and the bag.
The subscription costs $26.99 and shipping is $17.99 (flat rate for international) for a total of $44.98 ish, depending on the exchange (this one was $42.41 on my card). Three gel nail polishes alone plus shipping would be $63, so these boxes are a great value.
That being said, this is my last box for now because I cancelled my subscription. I do enjoy the element of surprise when opening my boxes, and they have definitely helped build up my gel nail polish stash. But now I’m starting to have similar colours and not enough variety. Granted, I’ve done this sub twice over the summer so that definitely did not help the colour selections. But I’m at the point where I prefer choosing colours that I know I’ll use.
