Monthly Purchases: June 2021 – Products

Let’s take a look at the beauty products that I purchased in June. I will be sharing the clothing and accessories in a separate post so keep an eye out for that one in the near future.

Body Care

Hawaiian Tropic – Silk Hydration Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 (x2) (R) This is my go-to sunscreen. It doubles as a body moisturizer and it smells so good. The bottle in the picture is my old one; I couldn’t find the two new ones I bought.

Nair – Wax Ready Strips for Legs & Body with Milk and Honey (R) I was placing an order at Walmart and wanted free shipping so I added these in. They’re my go-to wax strips so backups are always good to have.

Nivea – Black & White Invisible Anti-Perspirant Roll-On in Spring Mist – I’ve been wanting to try a roll-on deodorant and this one sounded great with its “invisible” claims. So far so good, and I like the scent.

Face Care

Institut EsthĂ©derm – Osmoclean Cleansing Water (R) This is now my go-to micellar water. It works great and doesn’t sting my eyes whatsoever. It’s also scentless.

Institut EsthĂ©derm – Mist – I’ve been wanting a new facial mist so I decided to give this one a try. It’s been working great so far. I love to use it after I come out of the pool to give a boost of hydration to my face.

Institut EsthĂ©derm – Sun Expert Cream SPF 50+ – I’m almost done with the sunscreen that I currently use as part of my morning routine so I bought this one to try out next. I like the higher SPF value.

All Institut Esthéderm products were purchased from my friend Véronique, owner of Vie Esthetic Studio.

essence – lash & brow gel mascara – I bought this to use as a brow gel. It’s okay, but not as good as a hair gel to set my brows.

Quo Beauty – Brow Defining Gel – I also bought this one to try, but once again, it’s not as good as a hair gel to set my brows.

Hair Care

Aveda – Nutriplenish Leave-in Conditioner (R) This is my go-to leave-in conditioner. My hair was so dry and tangled after I washed it (before I got it cut two days ago) that I used A LOT of this leave-in to help with the tangles. I also use it on my daughter because she has long hair. It smells good too. I buy this from my friend Vanessa, owner of Blush & Rose Beauty Bar.

Monday – Moisture Hydration Shampoo – I needed new shampoo and decided to give this one a try. Everything I bought for my hair was for dry and damaged hair. It smells good and cleanses well, although I often had to do a double shampoo since I only wash my hair twice a week and I have an oily scalp. It’s nothing new though; it’s like that with most shampoos.

And those were my beauty product purchases for June. Have you tried any of these?
