OMG I DID MY NAILS!!! The last time I did them was three months ago for St. Patrick’s Day. I’ve been wanting to do them SO MANY times since then, but by the time I sit down in the evening I’m just so tired that I don’t want to do anything. My girlfriend made it sound so easy. I know it sounds silly, but sometimes when someone else gives you a new perspective it makes all the difference. With gels, once it’s cured, it’s done. So do it while watching tv (I usually sit at the dining table – no tv). And voilà, nails DONE!
For this mani I tried the Candy Coat gel polish no 981 that I received in my subscription box of May 2019. This colour is a blue so light that it’s almost white, and I LOVE IT! I found it a bit patchy with two coats so I added a third coat and it was perfect.
They lasted pretty well too; I removed them on day 13 and this is what they looked like. I could have kept them on longer, but the regrowth and my cuticles were driving me nuts. 😛
It had been so long since I last did my nails that I could not stop looking at them.
There was another colour in that same subscription box that I have not tried yet. It’s similar to this one, but with a green tint instead of blue, and I cannot wait to try it! You should be seeing it on the blog over the summer. 🙂
