Walton Wood Farm Hand Rescue in Birthday Girl and Canadian Girl – A Review

A few weeks ago I was close to finishing the hand lotion I keep at the office so I went on Well.ca to see what new product I could try. When I came across the Hand Rescue lotions from Walton Wood Farm I just HAD to have them. I mean, vanilla buttercream (Birthday Girl) and maple brown sugar (Canadian Girl) scented formulas? YES PLEASE!

I never heard about Walton Wood Farm before, but I could see on Well.ca that they are Canadian (woo!) so I did a bit of research. They actually appeared on Dragon’s Den in 2016! Most of their products are 98%-100% natural and all are free of gluten, SLS, parabens, phtalates, and dyes. And they’re also cruelty free.

Walton Wood Farm Hand Rescue in Birthday Girl and Canadian Girl

When I read the scent descriptions for these hand lotions they sounded delicious, and I was NOT disappointed! These smell SO. GOOD. Birthday Girl doesn’t quite smell like vanilla buttercream to me, but it’s some sweet goodness none-the-less, and Canadian Girl is that perfect mix between maple and brown sugar. I just want to lick my hands after moisturizing them! The scents stick around too, but not in an overwhelming way. If I bring my hands close to my face I’ll get whiffs here and there, but that’s it.

These lotions have a light consistency and get absorbed into the skin very fast, but a little goes a long way. My hands feel soft and moisturized every time I use these. I kept Birthday Girl at home and brought Canadian Girl at the office.
