I’ve been trying to do more face masks during the quarantine because I definitely have the time at night, but it hasn’t been going that well. I’m too distracted with Netflix and social media that by the time I go do my evening skincare routine, it’s time for bed. Anyone else? ๐ However, I was inspired by Jayne (Cosmetic Proof) to use up some face masks from green beauty brands for Earth Month (April). I bought these 100% Pure sheet masks last year for Earth Month, but I never got around to them. I finally used them this year, yay! So here they are…

All these masks are the same size. I’ll talk about the fit once so that I don’t have to repeat myself every time.
The mask material is very soft. The fit is a bit big and I had to fold them back at the temples. They fit well though, and they wrap under the chin so there was no chin goatee. I cut them all between the eyes to make them flatten down on the nose.
I shared a little video on my IG stories on how I apply a sheet mask. I saved it to my highlights so you can go see it if you’re interested.
All of these masks had a lot of essence and it would drip down my neck a little bit as I would smooth them out. Except for one, which is the ones I made the video with, lol!
One last common note: I wore all of these for twenty minutes.
I’m reviewing these in the order that I used them, and we’re starting with…
Wrinkle Smooth
This mask had an interesting scent. Looking at the ingredients I think it was a mix of basil, coffee, and green tea. It definitely smelled caffeine-ish, and it grew on me.
After removing it, I massaged in the remaining essence and it was fully abosrbed within a couple of minutes. My face was a little bit tacky, so I added a sleeping mask and that was it. My face felt great and hydrated, but I can’t say that I saw any difference in my skin.
The scent did linger for quite a while and it was rather strong, like I still had the mask on. But I didn’t mind because it smelled good.
Collagen Boost
I found this mask to have a very similar scent to the Wrinkle Smooth mask, but this one has no caffeine or green tea in the ingredients. So maybe there’s another ingredient that has a similar scent that I’m just not familiar with. Also, the scent is not as strong with this one.
After removing the mask I massaged in the remaining essence and it was fully abosrbed within a couple of minutes. Again, my face was a little bit tacky so I added a sleeping mask and that was it. And, again, my face felt great and hydrated, but I can’t say that I saw any difference in my skin.
The scent did not linger with this one.
Deep Hydration
This mask had a different scent than the other ones; it smelled floral and herbal, and a bit minty (although I can’t find any minty ingredients).
This one also felt cooler on the skin, which would tie in with the mintiness – if there was any.
This mask seemed to have a little bit less essence than the other masks; it wasn’t as drenched. Massaging in the remaining essence took less than a minute. This is also the mask that I made the video with.
Same wee tackiness to my skin so I added a sleeping mask and that was it.
With this one I actually noticed a difference in my skin; it looked plumper and my wrinkles and fine lines were less visible.
Does It All
This mask had the same scent as the Collagen Boost mask. Very similar to Wrinkle Smooth, but not as strong.
This mask felt like a dupe of the Collagen Boost mask because all of my notes are the same (and it had the same scent too):
– essence was fully absorbed after a couple of minutes of massaging it in;
– followed with sleeping mask;
– face felt great and hydrated, but no visible difference in skin.
Actually, there is one difference: this one’s scent lingered a wee bit afterwards, but it was very faint.
Final Thoughts
I’m used to sheet masks having a fresh scent, so these were definitely different in that aspect. Deep Hydration had a different scent than the others, and I did prefer that one, but I still enjoyed the caffeine-like scent of the other masks.
Deep Hydration is also the only one that I noticed a visible difference with; it made my skin look plumper. But my skin still felt smooth and hydrated with the other masks which is good in my books. I don’t usually noticed a visual difference from sheet masks anyway; as long as my skin feels smooth and hydrated then I’m happy. A visual difference is a bonus!
There’s definitely one mask that came out on top, but I enjoyed all of these from 100% Pure.
I bought these 100% Pure sheet masks on Well.ca. If youโre a first-time buyer on Well.ca you can save $10 on your order of $40 or more with my code in the right nav. –>
Have you tried their sheet masks?
