April was the first full month of the quarantine for us and my purchases were definitely affected by that. I only bought what was necessary. I also didn’t buy any clothing items because I have a lot of home/comfy wear already. If you follow my IG stories then you’ve seen me wear all of my leggings. 😛 With that said, let’s see what I bought last month.
Lalicious – Sugar Coconut Hand Cream – I always moisturize my hands, but I’ve definitely been using hand lotion a lot more since the Coronavirus has been around (because of more hand washing). I have hand lotion at every sink in the house, and at a side table in the living room, and my bedside table. It’s like lipbalm, it’s everywhere, lol! I finished one hand lotion last month so I needed more. I bought this one from my friend, owner of Blush Beauty Lounge (supporting a friend’s small business ❤️ and supporting local). This hand cream smells AMAZING! I mean, coconut, need I say more?! Coconut is my go-to scent for beauty products. And this hand cream does NOT disappoint. Ultra moisturizing and smells wonderful!
PFBVanish – Goodbye Ingrown Hair! – While browsing my friend’s online store to buy the Lalicious hand cream (above) I saw this product for ingrown hairs. I get them on my bikini line when I wax so I decided to give this product a try. I’ll report back later! 🙂
Nair – Wax Ready-Strips – I first tried these when I received them from PR back in 2016 and I’ve been repurchasing them ever since. They work great on my legs, bikini line, and underarms. They’re easy to use, quick, and leave no mess. I couldn’t remember if I ever noticed a difference between the ones for sensitive skin (with Cherry Oil) or the regular ones, so I bought one of each. I figured that the strips for sensitive skin would be good for the bikini line.
And those are it for my April beauty purchases! I may be buying less for myself, but we’ve been buying a bit more for our daughter cause keeping a 5yo entertained can be challenging at times. Still, my wallet is happy with all the money that is being saved and I sure ain’t complaining!
