Body Care
Cetaphil – Pro Restoraderm Eczema Soothing Moisturizer
I was excited to try this sample to see if it would help with my Dermatographia, but it did not. That’s where the orange rating comes from. However, as a moisturizer, it worked great, so it gets a green light for that.
Nair – Wax Ready Strips with Honey and Milk Extracts (R)
These are my go-to wax strips because they work great! I’ve tried a few different ones from Nair and these ones are not as stiff as the other ones, and I can reuse them more often.
Nivea – Fresh Pure 0% Aluminum Deodorant Dry Spray (R)
This deodorant works great for me. It smells nice and does not leave marks on shirts. My only negative about it is that it gets used up pretty fast compared to roll-on or stick deodorants.
SweetSpot – Unscented Gentle Wash (R)
I always have one of these in the shower because that’s what I use on my sweet spot. 😉 And I also use it for my face when I wash my face in the shower.
Face Care
Bioderm – Sensibio Soothing moisturizing toning lotion (R)
This toning lotion is really nice; it feels good when I put it on, and you can use it on your eyes too.
Coola – Environmental 360° Sun Silk Drops SPF 30
These sunscreen drops were nice, but they made my face oily, hence the orange rating. They were easy to use and they doubled as my moisturizer in the morning. But I didn’t like how oily my face looked and felt after I was done.
Delon+ – Cotton Rounds (R)
I buy these in bulk at Costco, they work great.
Institut Esthéderm – Osmoclean Osmopure Cleansing Water
This is now my go-to micellar water. It does not sting my eyes whatsoever. It’s also scent-free so if you have sensitivities to perfumes then this one is great for you. I buy it from my friend Véronique, owner of Vie Esthetic Studio (you can shop online).
Hair Care
Aveda – nutri plenish leave-in conditioner (R)
This is my go-to leave-in conditioner. It smells wonderful and works great. I buy it from my friend Vanessa, owner of Blush & Rose Beauty Bar (you can shop online).
I had a lot of repeat items this time around! They’re all categories where I don’t have multiple items on the go; they’re what I like and that’s all I use.
