I did this manicure back in July when we were swimming a lot and I wanted to use something that reminded me of the water. Looking through my stash, I came across Hazel from Zoya and it was perfect! This is one that I received from my sister-in-law when she decluttered her collection. Merci Caro! 😉

Hazel is described as full-coverage, blue green foil metallic. I wish I had a macro shot of this one to show you because it’s a dense blue shimmer with mini gold glitters (or flakes) in it. I have a macro lense for my phone, but I haven’t installed it on my new phone yet (I have to find the metallic disc that sticks to the phone).

This one required three coats to be fully opaque for me (I’m very picky about my finishes). Then I added a topcoat.

I’m not a fan of this type of finish so this wasn’t my favourite manicure. It’s a gorgeous colour, but it’s just not a finish I like on myself. These usually work well for stamping though so I’ll definitely give it a try for that.

Do you like this type of finish?
– Chantal 🙂
