How’s 2020 going for ya so far? Was February better than January? 2020 has been great to me so far, but it’s because of ME. I made small changes that have improved my overall lifestyle. Things like going to bed earlier, getting my workouts in regularly, taking my vitamins. You know, self-care things that are important to do. It doesn’t have to be major changes either, small things can make big differences. Anywho, I digress. We got lots of snow last week and I love it! I love snow, in the winter, and it’s still winter. ๐ I also finished a good amount of beauty products in February so let’s take a look at them.

Body Care

Antipodes – Jubilation Ultra Nourishing Hand & Body Cream
This cream smelled SO GOOD! I don’t even know how to describe its scent, but I love it! It moisturized very well too. I used it on my hands at bedtime and would always wake up with soft hands.
I Love – Body Wash in Glazed Raspberry*
This body wash smelled delicious! It’s thinner than other body washes and I found I needed a bit more to do the same job (wash my entire body), but it still worked well.
Live Clean – Coconut Milk Moisturizing Body Wash
Smells delicious and washes well, would definitely repurchase.
SweetSpot – Unscented Gentle Wash
(R) I use this wash on my body and my face. It’s been in my empties before, and I already purchased more. I think that says it all. ๐
Vaseline – Clinical Care Extremely Dry Skin Rescue Lotion*
This lotion was great for the dryer winter months. I can get dry spots on my elbows and knees, and I didn’t get any while using this lotion.
Face Care

Delon+ – Cotton Rounds
(R) From Costco, they work great.
Benefit – The POREfessional Face Primer
I haven’t used this primer in YEARS so I was glad to have a sample to go through. This primer works great for me, but I use another one that costs way less (below).
Hard Candy – Sheer Envy Mattifying Primer
This is my current go-to primer. It works great for me; it doesn’t let my foundation accumulate into my wrinkles, and it helps control my oiliness. It’s already been repurchased.
Klavuu – Pure Pearlsation Revitalizing Facial Cleansing Foam
This cleanser works really well! The more you wash your face, the more it foams up. And talk about a squeaky clean finish! The first time I used it, while rinsing it off, it’s like the squeakiness of my skin reverberated in my brain. That may sound a bit weird, but I’ve never used a cleanser that made my face SO squeaky clean before.
Vichy – Minรฉral 89 Skin Fortifying Daily Booster
I bought this because I’ve heard so many great things about it, and I can see why. It felt great applying this right after washing my face, and my skin just drank it up!
Hair Care

Bumble and bumble – Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Heat/UV Protective Primer
(R) I LOVE this primer! It’s a great detangler, it makes my hair look and feel softer, and it protects against heat and UV rays. I even got one of my girlfriends hooked on it. It also smells SO GOOD! It’s already a repeat in my empties, and you’ll see it again because it’s been repurchased.
Bumble and bumble – Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Shampoo
This 1L bottle lasted around a full year for me (I’m still on the 1L conditioner). This entire line just smells SO GOOD! If you have a dry scalp then you need to try this shampoo! When I started using it I noticed that my roots would get oilier faster than before, and that’s when I started using dry shampoo a lot. Now that I’m back to what I used previously, my roots don’t get oily as fast and I barely use dry shampoo anymore. That’s why I say if you have a dry scalp then you need to try this shampoo. It’s good for dry hair too. Since finishing it, I’ve had to add another product to my hair to make it look softer and healthier. I won’t lie, it’s pricy. But I still think it’s worth a try.
All the products that I finished in February were great products. It doesn’t mean that I will repurchase them all, but if you’re considering any of these I say go for it!
Have you tried them?
