I did my nails again, yay! I went with another untried Candy Coat gel polish from the May 2019 Subscription Box. This is colour 982 and it’s a beautiful light mint green.
This colour was a bit patchy at two coats so I went with three coats. I also used the Candy Coat base coat and top coat that I have, so in total I have five layers of products on my fingers. I cure each coat for 60 seconds in my LED/UV lamp.
While dark vampy shades are my number one love when it comes to nail polish, the second place goes to pastel mint/turquoise/aqua. I am LOVING this colour!
I did my nails on Monday of last week and I still have them on as I’m posting this; they look just as good as the first day I did them. I’ve had great lasting results with the Candy Coat gel polishes, and I’m definitely in a gel nail polish mood lately. I like how you don’t have to wait for them to dry (once cured, they’re set). They also last way longer on me; they don’t chip easily (or at all), and they’re still as shiny two weeks later as they were the day I painted them.
