I feel like I say this all the time, but the months are just flying by. August is done so let’s take a look at the products that I finished during the month.

Body Care

Aveeno – Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion
This lotion moisturized really well, but I gave it an orange rating because I was hoping that the itch relief it claims to give would help with my dermatographia, but it didn’t. This was for after I exfoliated my skin in the shower. It always makes me a bit itchy, but this lotion did not help with that. I even did a comparison where I used this lotion on one leg and my regular Aveeno lotion (green label) on the other leg, and both legs were equally itchy.
Hawaiian Tropic – Silk Hydration Weightless Sunscreen SPF 30
(R) This is my go-to sunscreen. I love how it moisturizes the skin while it protects it, and it smells so good.
Face Care

Burt’s Bees – Mattifying Powder Foundation in 1110 Vanilla â Review
The only makeup item I wear daily is a mattifying powder, and I’ve been going through my stash lately instead of buying new ones. I really liked this one from Burt’s Bees, it applies nicely without being too much and doesn’t make me look cakey. I’ll definitely consider this one when I need more.
Institut EsthĂ©derm – Eau Cellulaire Fresh Moisturizing Gel
I had a few samples of this moisturizing gel and I loved them! The gel formula is lightweight and perfect for the summertime, and it has a light fresh scent that is very pleasant. I would definitely consider purchasing this moisturizer next summer if I need some (I have a few products in my stash I need to go through before I repurchase moisturizer).
Institut EsthĂ©derm – Intensive Hyaluronic Serum
(R) This is my go-to hyaluronic acid serum; it works great for me. I buy it from my friend Véronique, owner of Vie Esthetic Studio.
Maybelline – Dream Wonder Powder in 10 Porcelain Ivory
I love the formula of the Dream Wonder Powder because it gives me great coverage without making me look cakey. It’s too bad that it’s not available anymore because I would definitely buy it again. I still have the shade 03 Light Ivory left, which is the powder I’m currently using now so you’ll see it in my September or October empties.
SkinCeuticals – C E Ferulic
The Vitamin C products from SkinCeuticals have been working really well for me. I’ve tried all three versions that they have and they’ve all been great. The C E Ferulic version is geared for dry/dehydrated skin types so for me this one would be better for the wintertime when the air is dry.
Mary Cohr – SWHITE 30 Days Brightening Day Cream
This day cream was nice to use. It had a pleasant scent and it absorbed well into the skin. I liked that it had SPF 30 in it. I didn’t see any brightening effects on my skin because the sample didn’t last enough for that.
Hair Care

COLAB – Dry Shampoo in Unicorn
I really enjoyed this dry shampoo, it smelled really nice and it worked well. It did leave a bit of a white cast in my hair, but that went away when I fluffed it out. I would buy it again.
And those are all the products that I finished last month. Have you tried any of them?
